Law of Attraction 4

Today I conclude my short series about the law of attraction for July.  I want to share with you the seven steps you can take daily to manifest the law of attraction in your life.

First of all, it is very important to visualize what you want for your day. Do you want to be more productive today? Then visualize yourself sitting at your desk, focussed and working.  See yourself completing each task for the day and clearing your inbox.
Next, set yourself one specific goal for the day and focus your energy on achieving that goal.  Focussing on one specific goal is often more productive than working randomly on several different ideas.
Together, with your goal, also select an affirmation for the day, e.g. I am meant for great things, or I am capable to handle what comes my way, etc.  Write both your goal and your affirmation down where you can see it.  Repeat it out loud.
Next, make a choice to have a positive mindset.  This will create a positive vibe, and other people will pick up on this energy.
Find ways to extend kindness, but remember to also be kind to yourself.  People will often forget what you say, but they will always remember how you have made them feel.
Finally, when your day is done, reflect on how your day went.  Did you achieve what you set out to do? What will you do differently tomorrow.  Write your thoughts down in a gratitude journal.

Believe beautiful things are coming your way.  May you be blessed.

Choose Change

Can you believe it?  We are already a week into this new year! Amazing!  Have you thought this morning about just HOW wonderful it is to open your eyes, to experience a wonderful new day?  Definitely something to put into a Gratitude Journal.
Last week I shared with you my idea for my blog this year.  That is to share some thoughts or ideas with you that you can implement in your life this year.  The idea is that at the end of 2015 you would have done at least a few things differently or extra during this year.  Last week's idea was to start a Daily Gratitude Journal.  How is it going?  I love mine, and all it takes is ten minutes before bedtime to write down 5 things I am grateful for that happened, or that I saw or experienced that day.  The only catch is that it has to be something you have NOT written down before.  At the end of the year you could have 1825 things to be grateful for that you might otherwise have just passed by, or forgotten!!
This week I want to talk about CHANGE.
Yes, the one thing most of us find very, very difficult to do.  People generally do not like change.  We all have internal change detectors that buzz like crazy the minute we encounter something that just has the faintest whiff of change!!!  Yet, change is inevitable if we want to grow, evolve or develop into better human beings.  Change has to happen if we desire something different to what we presently have in our lives.
Don't worry, I am not here to tell you what it is that you should change, nor will I ask you to change a whole lot of things.  All I want to ask you is to take a look at your life, your circumstances or situation and ask yourself if there were just one thing that you would like to change or do differently, what would that be?  What is it that would make the most difference to your life, if you were to change it or do it differently?  Identify it, write it down and commit yourself to do it.  Now is the time to do it.  Do not put it off any longer.  A friend of mine changed just one thing at the beginning of December.  She decided to cut out all sweetened drinks from her diet and she's already lost 6lb!  One change, a positive result.

I leave you with this thought:

Making a big life change is scary, but what is even more scary? - Regret!!! (Quote by Unknown)

You are welcome to share your thoughts with us here on the blog.  I would love to hear from you!
Blessings.

Happy Flutterings!!! (1/52)

2015!!!
Happy New Year!!!

Today is the first day of a new year.  It is always one of the most amazing days of the year to me.  It is like a beautifully wrapped present.  We have no idea what is inside, but it shouts out "possibilities"!!!  A new beginning.  Another chance to..... (you fill in the blanks).  We are filled with anticipation. Awesome.  Yet scary.  What will "unwrapping" it bring?  We do not know.  We can hope, we can plan, we can anticipate, we can dream or we can wish.  My wish for you is that 2015 will be an amazing year for you and your loved ones.  My wish is that you will every day experience the blessings of the Lord, and that your days will be filled with joy and peace, love and laughter and health.
I would like to share a few thoughts or ideas with you throughout this year to help you live this year to the fullest, to make this a year of remarkable living.  Join me here for an astounding journey through 2015.
The first idea for 2015 is this:
Keeping a Journal of Gratitude.  Oprah made this idea famous, not me, but I would like to dust it off for this year and truly apply it.  Every day, before you switch your bed lamp off, take 10 minutes to write down 5 things you are grateful for that happened that day.  Sounds easy, but here is the true challenge: you have to every day find 5 totally NEW things that you are grateful for, now THAT's going to get you thinking and really looking around you!!!  I mean most of us are on a daily basis thankful for our families, our friends, health, etc, but if we have mentioned that on the first day it stays true for all the other days, so what is next on your list?  Makes you think, doesn't it?
Happy New Year, my dear readers, and enjoy your journey of Gratitude!  You are welcome to share your thoughts or gratitudes with me here, right on the blog.
Blessings,
Charri

Spring, beautiful Spring!

How wonderful!!! Yes, it is that time of the year again!  Here in the other half of the world Spring has sprung!  It is in the air, it is in the way the sun falls merrily upon my face.  The trees are sprouting tender little leaves and my cat is basking in the mellow sun.  It feels as if a window has been opened somewhere in my soul and the fresh breeze is filling every corner, chasing the last gray of the winter out.  It hardly matters that a cold front might be looming ahead, Spring is here, it has shaken Winter's cocoon from its wings!

I love Spring.  The rebirth of the Earth always fascinates me.  I am surrounded by the promise of new and wonderful things to come, I am filled with renewed energy and excitement, I want to drink in the crisp air with huge gulps of joy.  I am ready for new and wonderful projects.  What would it be this season, I wonder. Maybe a new lick of paint for my lounge, fresh bedding or a new craft project?  No, none of that.  This Spring I want to give thanks.  I want to give thanks to my Creator's wonderful mercy and love, the blessings He has bestowed upon me, my family, my friends.  I want to actively live a life of gratitude.  When I look at the world, at all the sadness that we read about every day, strife and war, the horrors of natural disasters, then I am humbled by how much grace we still receive every day out of our Lord's hands.  I feel so small, so undeserving.  It makes me realize how seldom I just give thanks.  So, this Spring it is time for me to reflect on all I have to be grateful for.

Yes, I know, some of you who are reading this post might feel as if you can't think of anything to be grateful for, maybe you do not feel so particularly blessed.  Maybe you have had to face hardship or sadness, maybe a loss or ill health.  Maybe you have had so many difficult times that you do not believe in blessings any more.  However, I want to tell you, no matter what your circumstances, the Lord is there in it with you, he knows your path.  You are not alone and if you take the time to look, to really search, you will find that one little flower managing to grow in among the thistles and thorns, that one little blessing.  We often mistakenly believe that it is happiness that makes us grateful, but the truth is that it is gratitude that makes us happy.  Mostly we think that blessings are found in the big things in life, but the truth is that it it most often found in the little, seemingly insignificant, things in life; my husband's warmth next to me when I wake up in the morning, the rich aroma of my early morning coffee, the smile on my daughter's face, my dog's excited bark when he sees me.  Once we stop recounting all our problems and start counting our blessings we will be amazed by all we have to be grateful for.

I leave you with a quote by Melody Beattie : " Gratitude turns what we have into enough."

If you flutter by here, please share with us what it is you would like to give thanks for.  I would love to hear from you.
